Video of the Day/Week/Month

We came across this beauty today and just thought it was too good not to post. The following video is from London’s BRIT awards which took place last night. Since Florence + Machine and Dizzee Rascal are two of the biggest acts in the UK right now, it only makes sense that someone would have the brilliant idea of putting the two on stage together during the show. This live mashup of Dizzee’s ‘Dirtee Cash’ and Florence’s ‘You’ve Got the Love’ called (wait for it…) “You’ve Got the Dirtee Love” is one of the coolest things we’ve seen in a long time (in spite of the name.)

So to recap, we have Dizzee rapping in a tux with a golden microphone, Florence sporting her golden pipes, 10 live harpists and a shit-ton of confetti. Sounds like a combination for a successful performance to me.

Oh and P.S: we can’t for the life of us understand why the publicist from Florence + the Machine won’t email us back about doing an interview, seems like she could definitely use some more exposure. (Ok maybe not.) However we do have interviews with Deadalus, Phantogram and Amanda Blank all coming up in the next few weeks, so look out for those. Peace.
