Songs and Video of the Day
In between writing mountains of term papers, I managed to get my hands on a few new tunes that I’d like to share with all of you. First up is a new single from one of my favorite indie-rock bands, Tokyo Police Club. Their new album Champ is due out soon, and we hope to see these guys this summer when they perform at Bonnarroo.

This next song is a bit of a change of pace. Caravan Palace have been around for a while, and a friend of mine recently turned me on to them. Very cool blend of gypsy jazz, rock and even a touch of electro. (Fair warning: after hearing this song you may not be able to get it out of your head for a few weeks.)

For our last song today, here’s a solid new remix from Ghosts of Venice

For our video of the day, check out Jolie Coquine again, but this time you get the added bonus of some glorious dance moves from Christopher Walken. (Note: the video was originally made for Fatboy Slim’s ‘Weapon of Choice’ a few years back, but Christopher Walken dancing looks good with just about any song in background.) Enjoy

Interesting, new mixture of Folk, Swing & Disco. Good for the Dancing Legs !
Thanks for posting. You’re right about the Caravan Palace tune, though…it does get stuck in your head. It would mix PERFECTLY with that song “doo uap, doo uap, doo uap” by Gabin.
There is an awesome official clip for Jolie coquine, why not showing it and/or how could you missed it?
