New Single: Crystal Castles

Posted 15 Apr 2010 in Music

Screeching, angry, grimy, dirty…these are the best adjectives I can come up with to describe the new single from Toronto glitch-rockers Crystal Castles. Although their new single, Doe Deer, clocks in at just under two minutes long, it still captures all the energy and intensity that Crystal Castles bring to their live performances. We can’t wait to see them in person as they headline the HARD tour this summer along side dub-master Rusko.

So here it is, the new single from Crystal Castles, Doe Deer
(in an effort to avoid angry emails, we’re not making this one available for download quite yet, sorry kids)

Interesting departure from their previous album’s style. Definitely refreshing.

Doe deer sounds like it was influenced heavily by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
