Well here we are at long last. We made it through exams in one piece (barely) and now its time to finally get out and enjoy ourselves. Like we’ve mentioned before, this weekend is the perfect opportunity to kick off your summer the right way with shows from the Twelves, Grum and Yeasayer. We’ll also have a chance to talk with Grum pretty soon, so stay tuned for that. In other news we’re infinitely psyched for May in Montreal, and we hope you are too. Here’s a little something to get you in the mood.

Our mixtape this week is from our good friend Daedalus. This is his new Future Roots mixtape, and this one is a bit of a blast from the past. Daedalus takes all the best elements from early 80s and 90s dance music, throws them into his magical Monome and comes out with some sick beats. Enjoy
