March has been a pretty wild month for us so far and we’re sad to see it drawing to a close. But don’t worry, the party isn’t over yet. The Neon Festival is in full swing, and last night we got the chance to see Benga, Flying Lotus and Lazer Sword throw down for a packed house at the S.A.T. Fly Lo played a great set, but unfortunately some sound issues at the venue kept Benga’s set surprisingly un-satisfying. Hopefully they’ll get all the bugs worked out so we can enjoy the rest of the amazing acts still set to perform. We’ll see you there Saturday for Fake Blood and Boy 8-Bit.

If you’re starting to get tired of the wave of tech/electro-house releases recently, then our first mixtape is for you. The Expressway Mix by Russ Chimes gets away from the bleeps and bloops and returns to flowing synth chords in the style of Kavisnsky and Daft Punk. Like the name implies, this is perfect driving music, so  strap yourself in for this hour-long ride on the Chimes Expressway.

    relatively new, was dropped about a month ago as a preview. was available on beatport the 17th more or less. Great new ep by Erol Alkan & Boys Noize, if you dig I suggest checking out Avalanche as well.
