Lazy Sundays: Vol # And All That Jazz…
This past Friday kicked off the week and a half of the legendary International Jazz Festival of Montreal, and the city could not be more exuberant. The city is noticeably alive, as the music carrying from Place des Arts seems to have added a bounce in many a step. From my balcony I can hear a mix of smooth bass and blaring trumpet, crooning in my ear that today will not be a lazy day. With Tam-Tams high up on the gargantuan scale, Argentina posed to demolish Mexico, and the Jazz fest right down the street, sitting at home doing nothing is impossible. I hope to see you down at the fest, the music already sounds great from here (if you’re interested in seeing today’s list of shows, click here). So without any further ramblings, some tunes.
