Interview W/ Vitalic
Last Thursday, Vitalic and Teenage Bad Girl arrived at Theatre L’Olympia ready to perform for a large and clearly excited crowd. Despite some problems with the venue’s soundsystem, Vitalic took to the stage and kept the audience enthralled throughout his performance. Before his set, I got the chance to go back stage and speak with the veteran DJ for a few minutes. We had to keep things brief, but I really enjoyed hearing what he had to say about the way the genre has changed, his musical process, and what has kept him popular and relevant in dance music for so many years.

I was so excited for the show. Honestly, we both know it was a complete flop.
My little sister could probably throw down a better set than Teenage and Vitalic’s only high point was Second Lives.
A night IN NO WAY worth 35 bucks.
vitalic ftw!
I definetely agree with Ethan. I’d also like to add that the doors opened at 9 and Vitalic started mixing at 1 AM!! So not only was it disapointing because of the bad performance, but the waiting was just too much…
Again like Ethan said,
A night IN NO WAY worth 35 bucks (+ several drinks in order to wait for vitalic to mix…)
