Hold On!
Happy hump day kiddos. We haven’t done dubstep in a little while, so I thought it’d be appropriate to share some new Rusko that I just stumbled upon. The track is a remix of the single ‘Hold On’ from his upcoming LP, OMG. The original song features Amber Coffman of Dirty Projectors notoriety. Her vocals are always phenomenal, but it’s truly impressive how well she adapted her voice to fit the electro/dubstep genre. I’d honestly like to hear her sing on more material like this. The remix, courtesy of Sub Focus, layers in even more bass and drums. It all comes together to create four minutes of listening pleasure. You can find new tracks up on Rusko’s Myspace; OMG drops May 10, 2010 on Mad Decent.
Here’s the ‘Hold On’ remix, as well as two of my favorite Dirty Projectors tunes. Happy listening.
