Get to Know: Star Slinger
Just wanted to write up a quick post to let you all know about one producer that’s on a major upswing recently. Star Slinger, aka Darren Williams, hails from Manchester, UK and has been blowing up on the blogs over the last few months thanks to some killer original productions, as well as amazing remixes for the likes of Gold Panda, How to Dress Well, Broken Social Scene and the Morning Benders (to name just a few.) His chilled out, funky, hip-hop inspired beats have a refreshing and unique style that makes them both instantly intoxicating and infinitely re-listenable. Keep your eyes out for any tracks with his name attached to them in the future, and make sure to follow him on Soundcloud.
