LOL, will brostep please go the fuck away. It was great for two or three years when it used reggae samples and was called jungle. No one really missed it when it left. why has it come back so strong and why are so many people behind it. it sounds like shit and with the lack of sampling is completely devoid of character. The re emergence of dubstep is the reason clubs have become shit for the past 2 years.

I hate the name dubstep, why is it even used?

  8. Connor (22 Dec 2010, 11:51)

Well, DSP, I’m pretty sure the prefix “dub-” came from the fact that in Jamaica original mixes or Dubs of songs were played or mixed live and often burned on the B Side of the disc (the “dub” side).
“-Step,” of course, coming from the fact that there is generally a 2-step rhythm pattern.
    Dubstep.

    Stop hating.

everyone needs to chill, reguardless of what bandwagon everyone has jumped on, if they like the music who really cares. theres that much to listen to out there, go find something you do enjoy and stop wasting your time bringing down what you don’t dig
