Bonnaroo Recap Part 3: Saturday June 12, 2010
Saturday of Bonnaroo brought us more amazing music than we could ever have hoped. We’ll get straight to the point with this post, and describe some of our favorite moments of the day. Beitcher’s Highlights: Saturday was probably my favorite day of the festival. From beginning to end, the day was jam packed with amazing acts such as The Melvins, The Dead Weather, Stevie Wonder, Thievery Corporation, Jay-Z, Weezer and, of course, Deadmau5 (just to name a few.) Weezer: I…
Bonnaroo Recap Part 2: Friday June 11, 2010
After about 45 minutes of sleep, I awoke on Friday to find a stacked lineup for the day. Friday marked the first full day of the festival, and I couldn’t believe how much awesome music was being thrown at me. The Gossip, Damian Marley and Nas, The National, Kings of Leon, The Flaming Lips, The Black Keys, and Chromeo were only a few of the day’s amazing sets. My personal favorites were Tokyo Police Club, Bassnectar, and LCD Soundsystem. Tokyo…

We’ll be outlining our personal highlights from each day over the course of our next few posts. First up is Thursday, Bonnaroo’s opening afternoon and night. The madness began before we even got onto the festival grounds with a traffic line of epic proportions. Roughly 40 miles of…
The Hangover
Just got back from what can only be described as one of the best weekends of my life. Bonnaroo is truly something to be experienced and I sincerely hope that all of you get a chance to get out to Manchester, TN at some point in your lives to see it. Between spending almost 48 total hours in my car, going 3 days without showering (or sleeping) and seeing some of the best musical performances of my life, I’m sure…

Igloofest III: The Grand Finale
We know that it’s always hard to say goodbye, but another year of Igloofest came to an end this weekend. Overall, we managed to make it to 5 out of the 9 nights, and we had a blast at each one. What’s great about Igloofest is that every night is a unique experience with a different crowd, a different music style, and a different vibe. We think it really speaks to this city’s character that no matter how cold it…
Igloofest II: Electric Boogaloo
Well week 2 of Igloofest has come and gone, and at this point we’re running out of superlatives. 3 more nights. 9 more amazing DJ’s, and all the insanity we have come to expect from Montreal parties. We were lucky enough to make it to Friday and Saturday’s events, props to anyone who managed to get to all three nights. We missed the female-heavy lineup of Maus, Mightykat and Mark Farina on Thursday, but heard that the mix of deep…
Igloofest: the Beginning
Igloofest is upon us once again boys and girls. It’s time to grab your parkas and get ready to party because you’re right in the middle of one of the best outdoor electro music festivals in North America. Thursday kicked the off festivities with Canada’s own Mini, followed by David Carretta and Jesse Rose (whose sample-heavy fidget-house set drove the eager crowd wild). Friday brought the minimal house and house-tech sounds of Mono-poly, Robert Babicz, Adultnapper, and Philip Bader. Saturday’s lineup…
