Bonnaroo lets artists announce lineup

In a unique turn of events, Bonnaroo has decided to switch it up and let the artists announce that they are playing the festival. Throughout the day, the artists will be announcing their performances through any medium they choose, whether it be Twitter, their websites, MySpace, etc. At noon, the Bonnaroo site will start composing a lineup on their website.

Tickets go on sale at noon today as well. The first batch of general admission tickets are available for the expensive yet totally worth it price of $234.50. After that, they’re up to $249.50, so hurry up, plan your roadtrip, and buy your tickets.

We’ll check back in with the complete lineup later today. If the previous lineups are any indication, this is going to be one sick festival.
