Back to the Grind
It’s all coming to an end. A new year of classes begins today, and although I’m obviously sorry to see summer go, it’s time to get back to work and back to the grind. A new year means a new set of resolutions about getting my life on track, here’s hoping I don’t disregard them in a month. Getting back to business after weeks of freedom is never fun, but on the bright side, we have some great music coming through that will give everyone around here something to look forward to. In the immediate future, Flying Lotus will be at Just For Laughs on Thursday, and less than a week later Ratatat arrives at Metropolis in what’s sure to be a fantastic live show. Both artists recently released some new material that I’m really looking forward to hearing in person, so try not to be too bummed out about the end of summer.
